The Territory
Paradise for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling or other outdoor activities, the Upper-Laurentians are located in the extreme north of the Laurentians touristic area, at the edge of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and the Outaouais.
With an area of about 15 000 km2, inhabited by thousands of lakes, rivers and lands to explore, the Upper-Laurentians provide activities for all tastes, cultural activities (visits to exceptional religious heritage, exhibition center, unique cultural events) sports activities (hiking, horseback riding, dog sledding, snowshoeing), boating (canoe, kayak, diving, rafting, airplane tour, boat trip), and many other activities to satisfy all our visitors.
Five touristic poles were identified in the area to satisfy all our visitors :
